BRITISH INDIA
They exploded onto the Australia pop scene in July 2007 with their debut album 'Guillotine'.
The boys toured Australia four times in ten months playing over 100 sold out shows.
They appeared at the major summer festivals and their songs 'Black & White Radio' 'Run the Red Light' 'Russian Roulette' & 'Tie Up My hands' became air punching anthems at venues and festivals across the country and to top off a busy year they picked up the gong for 'Best independent artist' at the 2007 AIR Awards.
Now only twelve months since the release of their debut album BRITISH INDIA are back with album number two, 'Thieves'. Their new single 'I Said I'm Sorry' was immediately added to high rotation on triple j with the album awarded feature album status on it's week of release.
'Thieves' looks set to surpass its predecessor and further cement British India's reputation as one of the most exciting live indie rock bands in the country. We welcome British India to HOMEBAKE 2008!
